About Our School

Andrew J. Rickoff School is a southeast PreK-8 school within the Cleveland Metropolitan School District. Located at 147th street and Kinsman, Rickoff has a long standing presence in the Mount Pleasant Community. 

Our school currently hosts families both in the immeidate and surrounding neighborhoods, including both parents and siblings whose families have a history of thriving at Rickoff. We currently service a variety of students, including students with special needs.  Our staff is committed to the growth of our scholars, many of whom have committed over a decade to student learning right here at Rickoff. 

We are constantly working to create more opportunities for our students. Currently, school staff offer boys basketball and cheerleading to teach teamwork and sportsmanship to our middle school scholars.  Scholars can also join Student Ambassadors, the Communications Team, learn to be student mediators, participate in girls and boys mentorship programs, and experience leadership development opportunities through Casey's Kids.  We also partner with Beechbrook and To Attain Healing to provide school-based counseling services to students who need them.
